Our Support

At Care Services (UK) we support adults (18+) with a range of needs including; learning disabilities and complex support needs such as Autism, Epilepsy and those with challenging behaviours. We provide support that is built around you, aiming to open up new opportunities for a full and purposeful life.

How can we support you?

We offer a wide range of support based on the needs, goals and aspirations of the people we support. Types of support we offer:

With over 20 years of experience providing support to people in a residential care environment- We are proud of the ‘Person Centred approach’ we offer.

Person Centred Approach

At Care Services, we believe that Person Centred support is the most appropriate way to support people who are in our care. Person-centred support focuses on the holistic approach around’ developing the knowledge, skills and confidence of the people we support. This enables the people we support to make more informed decisions about their health and care. People we support are always treated with dignity, compassion and respect.

Person centred support allows people to feel safe and secure both physically and emotionally. At Care Services (UK) we work towards enabling people to achieve their goals and aspirations, overcoming all challenges and obstacles along the journey.

Flexible programmes of Person-centred activities are promoted. These can include a range of leisure activities, supported employment, work experience, training and further education to suit the needs and choices of each person we support to help develop self-esteem and dignity with independence.

Positive Behavioural Support

All our staff are trained to use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) at all our homes. What other people may sometimes find more challenging we specialise in supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health and other conditions.
Our support team are experienced in assessing, understanding and creating person-centred PBS plans to support and improve the quality of life for the people we support. Our support workers work hard to balance the need to safeguard those we support whilst actively encouraging positive risk-taking so people can make their own constructive choices, enabling them to take part in the activities in which they wish to part-take. We promote the need for people to feel independent, secure, comfortable and have a sense of belonging.
